The Williamsburg Youth Orchestras’ Winter concert will open with Karey Sitzler conducting the WYO String Orchestra performing works by G. F. Handel, Soon Hee Newbold, and Mark Barnard. The WYO Symphony Orchestra, led by Akiko Fujimoto, will follow performing music inspired by fire – the “Promethus” overture by Beethoven, and selections from Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite.”
